I grew up in a despicable hole of a community. I called it The Sump of All Hope, a title I have for a book in the making. Since I've moved to Seattle, that project has been on hold, but every now and again little reminders spring to my attention. Like Kathy Griffin! (Oh, BTW, NOT work safe language.)
