Work has a, well, unprecedented thing going on with benefits. A third party essentially determines what level of medical coverage each employee can receive. They dispute this by splitting hairs, insisting that charging a greater deductible to some but not others is not a "penalty," but whatever.

To garner the cheap deductibles/copays, you must go to a website, fill out a questionaire, and enroll in whatever hoop-jumping courses they establish for their amusment and your shame. Fair enough. So I go.

And I get an "error" message:

We're sorry, the URL harrishealthtreands.getfitonroute66.com was not found.

But it's an error message with a graphic above it . . . a graphic relating to the site. And the page is titled.

And, if you're curious like me to see a 404 Error with proper graphics, you then open the Page Source, you see content.

Look, web master: if you're down for maintainence or not ready for release, just say so. Don't pretend my browswer didn't find the page. Sheesh.

Addendum, March 8, 2007

Well, with advice from [livejournal.com profile] ansirdquestions, I got in to the site. . . sort of. They have changed the login requirements. Seems I'm no longer registered, and cannot re-register, since I've already registered.

I'm thinking of filing a Union Grievance if they give me any shit about not partcipating.
