Pimpin' Out the Family
May. 17th, 2010 07:47 pmMy brother-in-law builds furniture. Not like stuff I make out of found and salvaged wood, but real furniture of heirloom quality . . . and selling at heirloom prices.

of one of Brian's tables.
This is a detail of one of my favorites. He and my sister gathered over a thousand square bits of hardwood, sorted them by color and tone and used them to form a pixelated hibiscus (a la Andy Goldsworthy). This became the top of the Hibiscus Cabinet.
