Idea for the installation of a massive timekeeping display, made of broken clocks.
Hang 719 clocks, all dial-faced or digital flip, and all broken and stuck in one position, on a large enough wall. Set each of them in a different position, at a different time. Indicate the correct time by illuminating the accurate clock, which is, of course, right twice a day.
For greater fun, scatter the clocks within a house evenly, and construct an even more diabolical mechanism for indicating the clock corresponding most closely to the correct time.
Or, don't even indicate the correct one. The truly serredipidous should be able to glance at the correct one and know it to be true.
